Victoria Beckham might be wowing the fashion world these days, but that hasn’t always been the case, with the first half of her career spent in black strappy tops and platform trainers with the Spice Girls, or wagging it up with spiky highlights, tank tops purposefully distressed and out-sized aviator glasses.
Unlucky, then, for the otherwise abundantly-privileged Harper Beckham, after Victoria revealed that her wedding dress – from the beginning of her biggest phase of Wag-dom – will be passed down to daughter Harper for her big day.

Victoria, who recently cleared out her wardrobe to sell her old tat for charity, told Stylist: ‘I kept my wedding dress. I couldn’t give away the dress I first wore when I went out with David. It was a little high-street suede mini-dress so I’ve kept that for her.’
Aside from the iffiness about deciding Harper, aged 3, will definitely get married one day – we’re just a bit worried about whether a shiny bustier dress will stand the test of time and look like a gorgeous vintage item circa 2040.
That said, in its defence, it was Vera Wang, and if you look at it and ignore Victoria’s carefully gelled points of fringe and the, um, crown, it is actually quite pretty in a way. Maybe it’s too recent to be vintage-cool, but one day it will be, right?
Plus, we bet, if Harper wants to get married, she’ll be allowed any kind of wedding get-up she likes. As long as dad approves of the bloke.
