Victoria Beckham In ‘Family Row’ With David’s Dad Over Harper And Cruz’s Christening Plans

Every family has their quirks, so it makes us feel better to hear that even the Beckhams experience family drama over the festive period.

According to reports, Victoria has found herself in a tiff with David's father Ted over the family's plans for Harper and Cruz's Christmas Christening this weekend.

It's been reported that while the former Spice Girl invited Ted, 71, and his partner Hilary Meredith to the ceremony, she didn't extend the invite to Hilary's daughter Charlotte, which caused a stir within the family.

A family insider told The Sun, 'Charlotte believes they are a family and should be invited as a unit.

‘In the end Ted asked David if they could bring her. He said he’d speak to Victoria.'

However all didn't end well, as when pressed Victoria declined.

'He came back and said sorry they couldn’t fit one more in,' the source added.

Ted and Hilary, who works as a solicitor, have been in a relationship since earlier this year.

But despite the pair attending, it appears Victoria is nervous about extending the invite further.

'The bottom line is Victoria’s mistrust of any outsiders being brought into the fold,' the insider added.

'All the staff working at the party have also had to sign non-disclosure agreements.'

The event is sure to be star-studded, with celebrities including Liv Tyler and Elton John in attendance.

Guy Ritchie will be Cruz's godfather, while Eva Longoria will be there as she's been asked to be Harper's godmother.
