According to a new report in the Daily Mail, Prince Harry is planning to invite two of his famous ex-girlfriends to his upcoming nuptials to Meghan Markle: Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas.
South African native Davy was the Prince’s first serious and high profile girlfriend, with the two dating from 2004 until 2011 on and off after meeting in Cape Town during Harry’s Gap Year. The couple were frequently photographed at official events together, and reportedly broke up after the media interest in Davy led her to realise that she would never be able to handle that level of press attention.
Bonas and Harry started dating in 2012, after being introduced by her good friend Princess Eugenie. The couple were rarely pictured together, and decided to split up in 2013. The cause of the split was rumoured to be because Harry was ready to settle down but Bonas was not. She has gone on to work as an actress and model.
As a source told the Daily Mail: ‘Harry has stayed good friends with Chelsy and Cressida, so they will be there. He made sure there were no hard feelings when they split up. I don’t think Meghan will mind.’
Prince William also invited his exes to his 2011 wedding to Kate Middleton, including Jecca Craig and Isabella Calthorpe.
