Tulisa is back in court. The former X Factor judge is facing allegations that she assaulted a celebrity blogger, Savvas Morgan. Turning up to Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court in all black everything with a new-ish brunette ’do, here’s what we’ve learned so far.

Savvas, who goes by the name Vas J Morgan and runs a ‘celebrity-meets-fashion’ news site has alleged that Tulisa screamed at him in the VIP area at V Festival in Chelmsford after Beyoncé's closing set and that her assistant Gareth Varey harassed him. Savvas also alleged that Tulisa punched him.

Why? Well, there’s a history of tension between her and Savvas as he’s the man who helped publish her sex tape. Savvas alleged that, during the scuffle, she said she ‘knew people from the streets’ and that she was ‘worth ten million pounds’.

Savvas told the court: ‘Gareth tried to hit me and then someone pulled him away. I turned and he was on the floor. I don't know what happened and then as I looked, there was more and more people running towards me and just coming at me and then she hit me…’

Matthew McNiff, the lawyer for the prosecution, said: ‘Who is “she”?’

Savvas replied: ‘Tulisa Contostavlos.’

Other really interesting stuff we’ve learned from Savvas’s Instagram: he’s just spent the past few days in Cannes with Lindsay Lohan. He’s also mates with Rita Ora and Chloe Green – he accompanied her to the launch of David Beckham’s latest H+M swimwear collection. Oh, and he seems to be mates with Sadie Frost, Mutya Buena and Lauren Pope. He’s also friends with Misha B, who, if you remember, didn’t get very far in The X Factor and was accused by Tulisa of bullying other contestants backstage.

That sex tape leak, if you don’t remember, appeared in March 2012. Filmed and distributed by Tulisa’s ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards, she was ‘devastated’ and ‘heartbroken’ when it went viral. One of the places it first appeared was on Savvas’ site.

Though he said in court, ‘I simply directed people to the website where I got it from… it was nothing personal against Tulisa,’ we can’t imagine that by publishing it, along with comments underneath calling Tulisa a ‘slut’ and a ‘whore’, he did much to support her.

He said he deleted it afterwards, but Tulisa was later granted an injunction on the video, and Savvas was the recipient of a High Court order which banned him from posting it.

So perhaps it’s no surprise that Tulisa was seen shaking her head as Savvas gave his evidence. And yet, the trial against her and Gareth continues.
