Tommy Fury shocked Love Island viewers last night by admitting that he didn’t know how to make a cup of tea or an omelette. All was revealed when the pro-boxer wanted to impress his new partner, Molly-Mae Hague, by making her breakfast - but there was trouble in the kitchen, as dancer Curtis Pritchard had to assist him making an omelette.
Viewers were less-than-impressed, with many writing on Twitter that they couldn’t believe Tommy hadn’t learned these skills by the age of 20. One asked, ‘How can you reach the age of 20 and not have cooked an omelette?’ whereas another joked, ‘Tommy trying to cook an omelette is my last brain cell.’
In the episode, Tommy was also seen getting annoyed as Anton wanted to get close to Molly-Mae. Anton told Tommy in the kitchen. ‘I've been getting to know her today. I hope that's fine. Obviously I'm going to have chats with her. There's no harm in it.’ But later, referencing the earlier love triangle with Joe and Lucie, the boxer said in the beach hut, ‘I've gone from one love triangle right into another here.’ Molly-Mae entered the villa on Friday, and the public voted for Tommy to go on a date in the hot tub with her.
