Sophie Hermann And Tom Zanetti Have Split

Uh oh… Tom Zanetti and Sophie Hermann have split. This evening's series finale of Made In Chelsea established that the pair have gone their separate ways, with Sophie announcing the sad news.

There had been hints off screen when the pair unfollowed each other on social media. We hated to look into things too much, but, in recent years, the way most celebrity splits have been confirmed is when people unfollow each other on Instagram. And The Sun later reported that the pair had parted ways, with distance being a factor, as Tom lives in Leeds while Sophie is in London.

We’re not going to lie, we loved the couple together, and willed them to be together as soon as they met on Celebs Go Dating. While we didn’t expect their relationship to last - celebs dating celebs on CGD usually doesn’t last, you only need to look at Megan Barton Hanson and Demi Sims - Tom and Sophieproved us wrong, and were together for about six months after leaving the mansion.

It even meant Tom was able to join Made In Chelsea with Sophie. Speaking to us last month, Sophie told us how he managed to get along well with most of the cast. 'The great thing about Tom is that you can literally drop him anywhere and he gets along with everyone,' she said in April. 'So that's a really great quality to have. And it was really important - especially for Fred - and they all liked him very much.'

But, according to Sophie, he did have to have a little bit of a makeover - mainly ditching the skinny jeans. 'We kind of did a little makeover with him,' Sophie says. 'He's not allowed to wear jeans that are three times too small any more and cut off his blood circulation! I don't want to change him, but I hate the tight jeans.’

The reality star hinted about a split with us earlier this month, saying that she refused to define their relationship, something she also mentioned on Made in Chelsea last week. In an exclusive interview with Grazia, she said, ‘We have never defined anything because we only had the time to see each other for a short amount of time. It was nice to see him again, and to actually be able to hang out.’
