It seems Tom Cruise has definitely passed his passion for Scientology down to his daughter, Isabella, who has said she thanks him “for everything”, while urging others to join the religion. Isabella - who is Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s eldest adopted child - has written a revealing email about her role as an “auditor” in the controversial church.
“I became that annoying girl in the org who would just talk endlessly about how incredible training is and how phenomenal the internship is,” the 26-year-old wrote in a recent email newsletter for Scientology London, first published on journalist and whistleblower Tony Ortega’s blog, The Underground Bunker. “I’m sure a few people couldn’t deal just like I couldn’t. But I won’t stop with that because now I KNOW.” An auditor is described byPage Six as ‘a member of the church who helps potential and current members “rid” themselves “of spiritual disability” and increase their own abilities’ and in the email Isabella recommended fellow Scientologists to take an “internship” (training) to become one.
“We all need to do this,” Bella, who lives in London and works in fashion, added. “It’s hard work. It’s a lot of effort… This is a gift to yourself and so many others. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t going to be an auditor or aren’t going to join staff. If you are going to make it as a being for the long run you NEED this. That’s the truth. You won’t stay Clear or [the spiritual state of being Operating Thetan] without it.” Towards the end of the email, she thanks her father, current Scientology leader David Miscavige and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
The Mission Impossible actor became involved with Scientology in 1990 through his first wife, Mimi Rogers. It was reported last year that he personally carried out brutal punishment beatings against fellow Scientologists, as claimed by ex-church member Leah Remini, and reported in The Sun.
