Now Rihanna may have won CFDA's Fashion Icon Award this year - you might have most definitely did see her pick up her award in that sheerly there dress - but not everyone approves of her style.

T-Boz and Chilli of 90s girl group TLC (obvs) slammed the singer while on Australian morning show *Sunrise *yesterday, criticising her for always being 'naked'.

'Every time I see you, you don't have to be naked,' T-Boz said about RiRi. 'We became the biggest selling girl group of all time with our clothes on and that says a lot,' Chilli added. 'We could go around too with booby cakes out all day long.' Or as T-Boz put it: 'It’s hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say ‘Oh TLC must be jealous,’ but I call a spade a spade.' Meow!

As the celebrity least likely to give a fuck, RiRi couldn't possibly have just let the criticism pass. 'When there's no changing the fact that I'm me, and they're well...they're them,' tweeted the Bajan songstress just hours after the interview aired.

Rihanna also changed the banner on her Twitter background to a picture of TLC posing topless, with only their hands covering their breasts. Touché. (She has since changed her background to pink fluffy crowds. Point made, presumably.)

Oh Ri, we do love you so. As she said herself when picking up the award: ’As far as I could remember, fashion has always been my defence mechanism. Even as a child, I remember thinking, "She can beat me, but she cannot beat my outfit."' And with that mindset, it's clear people can accuse Rihanna of many things, but giving a crap about what some 90's gilrband said (RIP TLC) is most certainly not one of them.

Still, do both TLC'd breasts and Rihanna's dress prove a depressing truth that sex has, and does, sell in the music business, and elsewhere, whether T-Boz and Chilli like it or not? Seems so.
