Wearing shorts and a kaftan to the beach is so last year. At least, it is if you take your fashion inspo (which you should) from music royalty, Jay Z and Beyoncé.
The couple have been seen around Kingston in Jamaica to shoot content for their upcoming Run the World II tour and this picture is rumoured to be part of a photoshoot to promote it. As if the tour needs promotion, we’re all going.
They’ve previously been pictured on a motorbike first through Kingston's Trench Town neighborhood, then through the countryside.
But for this candid-esque beach shot, ‘Yonce’s dressed in a plunging neckline with bold colours and, what seems to be, a lace frill. She is the beach goddess of dreams. Jay Z meanwhile, is suited and booted in red, with a yellow stripe down his trouser. The boldness of the colours is equal to Beyoncé and it’s got us thinking:
Is Tina Knowles dressing Beyoncé again?
We’d be forgiven for thinking so, due to the matching styles which Tina was famous for dressing Destiny’s Child in.Tina would design and sew the group’s outfits before they had access to all the designer clothes.
Although, that’s not where all her designing talents were pooled into. Does anyone remember her line House of Deréon? No? Let me fill you in. It ran from 2006-2012 and was known for its ultrafeminine flourishes, such as embroidery and ruffles. At this point, I’d like to draw your attention to the original image. Ultrafeminine? Ruffles? Matchy, matchy?!
It has Tina written all over it.
Of course, it’s all speculation, but I’m here for it. I hope Tina’s designing outfits for the Run the World II tour, I’d pay any price to see Jay Z in ruffles. I suppose this shot will have to tide me over until then.

Power Pattern
Not quite Zebra print, not quite leopard print but hey, here's some more of that asymmetric hem action we were talking about earlier.

We're Still Fun But Also Mature

Plenty Of Purple
I know, bit of a shock to the system seeing them looking like they shopped from different racks at the same store. But if you were to lose one of them at a party they'd still be easily identifiable.
