Tiger King’s Joe Exotic Refused Presidential Pardon

Bad news for Joe Exotic, as the former zookeeper was denied a presidential pardon from Donald Trump. 143 people were pardoned in one of Trump's final acts of presidency before Joe Biden is inaugurated - but Exotic's name was nowhere to be seen on the list, which included rappers Kodak Black and Lil Wayne (who were both prosecuted on federal weapons offences) and former political adviser Steve Bannon.

This probably came as a bit of a shock for Exotic - who is currently serving 22 years in a Texas prison for animal cruelty and being convicted of trying to hire a hitman to kill his rival Carole Baskin - as his team had a limo booked and on stand by to escort him home from prison.

Private investigator Eric Love, leading Exotic's case, told the Metro{ =nofollow}, 'We’re confident enough we already have a limousine parked about half a mile from the prison. We are really in action mode right now. I’ve got make-up, wardrobe, the whole unit that will come up.' He continued, 'The first thing Joe wants to do, he wants his hair done. He hasn’t had his hair done in two-and-a-half years. That’s the first order of business. Then we’ll probably go and get some pizzas, steak, maybe a McRib.'

Meanwhile, Carole is understandably pleased that Joe is staying behind bars. 'There is no benefit, other than a feeble attempt to deflect attention, for anyone to pardon someone who walked up to five tigers and shot them in the head in order to clear cage space for the circus, who was going to pay him to board their tigers during the off season,' she told The Sun. 'Tigers are the world's favourite animal and Joe Schreibvogel Maldonado Passage is right where he belongs.'
