Loads of celebrities have been making money in lockdown through providing personalised video messages for their fans - and even Tiger King’s Carole Baskin has joined the craze. If you wish to part with £140.27, you can get a video message from the woman behind Big Cat Rescue and she can give you, or someone you love, a shoutout.
And yes, she does start all of her messages with ‘hey all you cool cats and kittens’.
‘You know me as Tiger King Joe Exotic's intended murder victim but my real life’s work has been at Big Cat Rescue for a world where all wild cats live free,’ Carole says on the website. ‘Please be a voice for cats: BigCatAct.com.’ Interested? You can register for a message here.
Alongside Joe Exotic, who is now in prison for 22 years for a plot to kill Carole, the Big Cat Rescue founder became an overnight celebrity after the show was released at the beginning of lockdown (which now seems like years ago). However, Carole has always strongly denied any involvement in his disappearance.
For now, Carole might be making money on Cameo, but it was recently reported that she has been offered ‘a big money deal’ to star on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. According to The Sun Online, the producers have offered Carole a lucrative sum to appear on the show later this year. ‘
