Traitors ‘Mother’ Francesca Rowan-Plowden has glammed up for her latest leading role – in John Lewis’ new ad. The interior designer, who goes by the nickname 'Frankie', looks stylish in a hot pink mini dress with puff sleeves and pussy bow collar with high heels for the Mother’s Day campaign for the high street brand.

‘Had such fun ‘Mothering’ with John Lewis,’ said the reality TV star, to which the company replied, ‘The best. Can’t get enough. [She’s] a wonder to work with.’

The ad sees Frankie, 45, getting out from a black cab and walking into the department store, to the surprise of sales staff and other customers. The mum-of-four browses through the clothes rails, scours the shoes and gets into a tussle over a silver Marc Jacobs tote bag, before walking out laden with bags.

Fans were thrilled with her glamorous new look. ‘She’s an icon, she’s a legend and she IS the moment,’ one follower said. Another fan remarked, ‘Love it and you look beautiful’, while a third commented, ‘WOW!! I am just obsessed with you Frankie!’

Trained actress Frankie, who’s a single mum to four sons, became a household name after finishing as a finalist in the third series of The Traitors, which ended in January. Her fellow Faithfuls Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown won the season.

‘I had the most amazing experience, I challenged myself beyond what I ever thought was possible, and I made my boys proud – mission accomplished!’ Frankie said.

She later revealed she has been enjoying adjusting to her newfound fame. ‘It’s been a week since the Traitors final and what a whirlwind week it has been; three different hotels, more interviews than I can count and a fair amount of lace and sequins and a lot of fun! If you had told me 15 years ago, that I would experience the week I’ve just had, (aged 45), I wouldn’t have believed it!’
