In each issue of Grazia, we ask people we admire to reveal their 'lasts', from books to beauty products. We chatted with sports broadcaster and former footballer Alex Scott to chat podcast reccomendations, adventures in Costa Rica and her latest Soccer Aid for UNICEF purchase...

The last book I read…. A Court Of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J Maas. It’s a ‘romantasy’ and takes me back to reading Twilight.

The last song I listened to… AJ Tracey and Jorja Smith’s Crush. It’s all over TikTok.

The last box set I binged… Severance. I’ve been nonstop shouting about it since. I got to the last episode and just sat there with my mouth open.

The last item I added to my wardrobe… A Soccer Aid UNICEF T-shirt (below). It’s such a fun event to be a part of. If you speak to anyone involved, they come away loving it and wanting to do it again next year.

The last beauty product I finished… Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream. It’s my go-to moisturiser.

The last podcast I listened to… The Louis Theroux Podcast. I love how he interviews. It can get serious, but he pulls it back to be so funny.

The last meal I cooked… Jess [Glynne] and I had chicken and mushroom pie, roast potatoes and green vegetables – with a glass of rosé.

The last app I downloaded… CapCut. I do all my own content and someone told me this is the easiest app to edit videos. So many people have social media people who do it all for them now, but I’m still stuck, trying to edit my own videos. I need more time in my life.

The last restaurant I ate in… This is going to sound bougie, but Soho House for a roast dinner. They do amazing roasts.

The last day off I had… I went round to my mum’s and we sat out the front with tea and biscuits, catching up. She has multiple sclerosis so she’s been through a tough time. People think it’s the big gestures we need to do when, actually, the small things have just the same impact.

The last holiday I went on… was to Costa Rica. We were in the rainforest, hiking, bird-watching and seeing snakes. I find it hard to just sit and read a book on holiday.

The last great piece of advice I was given… I held a talk recently with Carolyn McCall, the first female executive at ITV. One thing she said that resonated with me was, ‘Don’t be scared to negotiate – know your worth and know your value.’ Sometimes women play it down and we’re like, ‘I’m so grateful to be here.’ Actually, no, you’ve worked so hard you deserve to be there. It’s flipping your mindset.

Soccer Aid for UNICEF is on 15 June at Old Trafford. Adult tickets from £20, junior tickets from £10; socceraid.org.uk/tickets
