We've missed loads of TV while the pandemic has been ongoing, but one of the shows we were sad not to see go ahead was The Apprentice. With toe-curling challenges and horrendous boardroom meetings, it always makes us feel glad that we're not the ones actually in the firing line, trying to secure that all important investment from Lord Sugar.
But, rejoice, as the show is soon going to return to our screens. So expect lots of drama, bad business ideas and lots of shouting. But in series past, there has also been some reported hooking up behind-the-scenes, with some contestants taking a shine to each other (if tabloid reports and tell-alls are to be believed). However, according to reports, the BBC are eager to stop all that this year, as it has been reported that extra minders will be employed to stop any bedroom antics happening. After all, that's not very socially distanced, is it?
‘Lord Sugar has always hated the idea that some of the contestants might be getting together behind the scenes while filming,’ a source told The Sun{
Sadly, series 16 of the show was postponed due to the pandemic - but filming is now set to start next month, so hopefully it won't be too long before The Apprentice is back.
Grazia has contacted representatives for The Apprentice to comment.
