Taylor Swift's pastel-perfect new single ME!recently became the most viewed video debut by a female artist in history ever, quite a feat, yes, but despite amazing accolades, it turns out that she’s still spending time batting off silly and extremely sexist questions simply because she’s turning the grand old age of thirty this year.
Alas, she’s also in a long-term relationship with her British boyfriend Joe Alwyn, all key signs that she should stop taking over the music world and settle down and start a family, right? Big sigh.
But in true Swifty style, she had the best clapback when she was asked about it by Deutsche Presse-Agentur this week.
According to Just Jared, Taylor responded: 'I really do not think men are asked that question when they turn 30.
'So I’m not going to answer that question now.'
Touché.
Taylor didn’t stop there either, as she went on to reveal that she was excited about her thirties as she spent spent much of her twenties ‘failing’ and ‘making mistakes’. Million dollar discography mistakes, may we add.
‘I hear others say that one in his thirties no longer has as much stress and anxiety in life as in my twenties,’ Taylor said.
'And I can join in the observation that we are in our twenties looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes.'
We’re with you, gurl.
