Taylor Swift has made her feelings about the rumours that she is dating her BFF Karlie Kloss abundantly clear in a new tweet. The singer, who is set to turn 25 on December 13th wrote on her account last night, 'As my 25th birthday present from the media, I'd like you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me #thirsty.'
Reports about Taylor and model Karlie began to circulate last week when the pair were spotted looking cosy at a 1975 gig in New York. A video that appeared to show the pair kissing sent her fans into an absolute frenzy but the singer's reps were quick to deny any involvement between the two.
Taylor's PR said, 'It's sad that on the day it's announced Taylor has three Grammy nominations for 'Shake It Off,' I have to shake off this crap.' The tweet is the first time Taylor has commented on the story.
Taylor and Karlie have long been close friends, both taking part in the Victoria's Secret show in London last week. They are regularly spotted out and about together and in her interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year it was even revealed that Karlie has her own room in Taylor's New York pad.
The magazine reported that the room was decorated with pictures of the model and there was a basket of her favourite snacks next to the bed. Taylor has recently spoken out about her desire to stay single following a series of high profile relationships with the likes of John Mayer and Harry Styles.

She said, 'I, however, am 24, perfectly happy being alone, and one of the reasons I’m perfectly happy being alone is that no one gets hurt this way.' Taylor is famed for writing songs which document her heartbreak including Out Of The Woods which is said to be about her former One Direction lover.
In other Taylor related news her Victoria's Secret friends (including Karlie) have paid ode to the singer, filming a video of themselves lip syncing along to Shake It Off. Taylor posted the video to her Twitter under the caption, 'Anddddd swoon'. We couldn't agree more.
