During the pandemic the singer has sent money to several of her most loyal fans, after reading about their struggles on Tumblr, a site she regularly uses. One fan, Samantha Jacobson, who had lost her job in hospitality said, ‘I was in shock. I was just speechless. I couldn't believe someone I had looked up to and love and respected for so long has reached out with such generosity.’
