Taylor Swift Even Smiles In Her Sleep

In 'things that sound really - almost sickly – sweet, but actually end up being quite depressing' news, Taylor Swift smiles in her sleep.

Ah, ‘classic Taylor’, you're probably thinking. ‘She's so cute and nice that she's even friendly when unconscious. If you accidentally ran over one of her cats she’d probably just sigh and then give you a teddy because you look kinda shaken up.’

Well stop right there. Because the reason that Tay Tay smiles in her sleep is that she suffers from anxiety dreams that she's being photographed. She’s just another helpless clog in the fame machine, and by being her fan we’re all condemning her to a life of misery.

Speaking to Dave Berry on the Capital Breakfast show (as if that sentence in itself wasn’t distressing enough), Taylor revealed that her life is ‘peppered with anxiety’, and her nights are haunted by dreams of photographers stalking her.

‘Anxiety dreams, and also my reality, even when I'm not dreaming, is peppered with lots of anxiety’, she said. ‘There's a dream that, any time I'm paparazzied out, which is a lot, I have dreams that night that they're in my room taking pictures of me while I'm sleeping! So I'll find myself smiling in my sleep, because I think there are people in my room taking pictures of me. Not smiling because I'm happy, smiling because I think people are taking pictures of me!’
