Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are understandably very private about their relationship - but excitingly, Taylor’s new documentary might have given the biggest hint to the next stage of their lives. Her new documentary Miss Americana has just dropped on Netflix, and eagle eyed fans have noticed that she’s wearing a huge diamond on her ring finger. (Don’t believe us? Take a look at the sparkler below.)

During a scene where Taylor talks about breaking her silence on politics, she says ‘I want to be on the right side of history’ - and then she lifts up her left hand to which reveals the ring.

Unfortunately, we’re not 100% sure we’re going to see Taylor walking down the aisle anytime soon though, as she says in the film that she’s ‘not ready for all of that grown up stuff’. ‘There’s part of me that feels like I’m 57 years old,’ she says. ‘But there’s part of me that’s definitely not ready to have kids and definitely not ready for all that grown up stuff.’

Obviously, her hectic schedule might also mean she’d struggle to squeeze a wedding in. ‘I kind of don’t really have the luxury of figuring stuff out, though, because my life is planned two years ahead of time,’ the future Glastonbury headliner added. ‘Literally, in two months, they’ll come at me with dates for the next tour.’

And, during the Sundance Film Festival, the film’s director Lana Wilson refused to divulge about the ring, simply telling InStyle, ‘Whoa. I’m going to have to revisit that scene.’

As well as covering her relationship with Joe, Miss Americana also discloses Taylor's struggle with eating disorders. In the film, she reveals how she used to starve herself, and says she used to think it was normal to feel like she was going to pass out at the end of a show.

Miss Americana is available to stream on Netflix now.
