There's been some pretty weird stuff going on in Celebrity World this year. Stuff like the time Kanye West made a video out ofanimatronicsleeping celebrities. And stuff like Liam from One Direction dating Cheryl Cole. But no doubt the biggest shock to everyone though was those three weeks or so a few months back when popstar Taylor Swift did a round-the-world tour that involved not music, but a showcasing of her new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston.
It was very weird. The two visited Italy, they visited Australia. Tom came to Taylor Swift's Labour Day weekend party, a party which was attended by exclusively attractive celebrity women (and a kidnapped Ryan Reynolds) where he swam in the sea wearing an 'I <3 TS vest' (for which there were actually a number of rationalexplanations including Tom Selleck and Tom Hiddleston not being #beachbodyready).
The two went on country walks with Tom's family where they both dressed exactly like what an American (Taylor's stylist) would imagine English people to wear on a country walk. They snogged on the beach 'surrounded' by onlookers who suspiciously didn't post one picture on social media.
The whole thing was very weird.
But now, fans are speculating that Taylor is about to do something BIG. Like release an album. On October 23rd. Our theory? This is when Hiddleswift is finally going to come into fruition and we're all going to go 'OHHHHHHHHHHHHH.'
So, the evidence for a new album is as follows....

Taylor always releases her albums on the Monday or Tuesday of the last week of October, every two years. Apart from 2008's Fearless which came out Nov 11th. 1989 came out in 2014.

Taylor Swift tweeted this yesterday. That's an Austin racetrack which, on the 22nd October, is set to hold the Formula 1 US Grand Prix competition. Taylor is set to headline. F1 draws a HUGE audience - 450 million global viewers across 2015's season. How's that for a platform to announce a new launch?

The date. You guys know her thing with the number 13 right? 23/10/16 - add those numbers individually together and you get .... da da da daaaaa... '13'.

Scott Borchetta. The head of Big Machine Records; Taylor's record label, answered a fan query about Taylor's new album being released in October with a resounding 'NOPE', then deleted his tweet.

Taylor's AT&T deal which was announced on October 4th. The phone company giant said that their deal with Taylor included 'a major, exclusive multi-year, multi-faceted deal featuring performances and content.' Could this be a U2 iTunes thing? Americans that purchase a phone through AT&T will already have Taylor's new album pre-loaded?

Gigi Hadid, one of Taylor's best friends told Entertainment Tonight during fashion week that 'She is starting to go back to work in the studio and really made time to be here for me and I am so grateful for that.'
So there you go. The evidence. And now my own crackpot theory: In the same way that Beyonce hanging out with fans on Coney Island finally made sense as soon as you saw her surprise 2013 visual album Beyonce, 'Hiddleswift' will be revealed to be a big old fake phoney parody of a relationship to make a point about all the times Taylor Swift has been attacked by the press for dating men and writing about them.
Other theories welcome.
Obviously we're dealing with the Taylor Swift machine here which means we will know nothing until we're supposed so erm, roll on October 23rd I guess?
