Taylor Swift has taken a shot at sexist double standards in her new track The Man.

In the track, she sings about - you guessed it - men, and how they are often applauded for doing the things women are stigmatised for, such as making ‘power moves’ and ‘ brag about drinking and dollars’.

But, on the song from her new album Lover, she also addresses how men are able to brag about ‘getting bitches and models’. In the pre-chorus, Taylor says that if she was a man, ‘they would toast to me, oh, let the players play. I’d be just like Leo in Saint Tropez.’

While she doesn’t mention his surname, she could be name-dropping Leonardo DiCaprio{ =nofollow}. A graph (created by Reddit user TrustLittleBrother) recently showed that the actor had never dated a woman over the age of 25. He is currently going out with 22-year-old Canadian model Camila Morrone.

Also on the album is an unexpected appearance from Idris Elba{ =nofollow}, whose voice is heard at the beginning of London Boy, Taylor’s ode to boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Swift’s Cats co-star Elba introduces the track, saying ‘we can go driving in on my scooter’

Idris’ extract is taken from a chat on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where the actor is discussing how he helped raise $750,000 for charity by auctioning off a Valentine's date.

These appearances are far from the first moves in music that the star has made this year; he also featured on Wiley’s Boasty remix, DJd at Coachella, released his Yardie Mixtape and featured in Stormzy's Vossi Bop music video.
