Tasha Ghouri has finally revealed why she and Andrew Le Page broke up after confirming they had split back in January – and yes, they fell victim to the Strictly Come Dancing 'curse'.
While nobody was unfaithful in the relationship, Ghouri has admitted that it was her involvement in last year’s series of the hit BBC dance show that was the final nail in the coffin for the couple’s two-and-a-half-year romance.
Ghouri, 26, and Le Page, 30, met on Love Island in 2022, making it all the way to the final, where they finished in second place behind Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti.

But after moving in together and buying a house together, which they were in the midst of renovating, Ghouri and Le Page left fans heartbroken in January when it was reported they had split, something which Le Page confirmed in February.
Why did Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page split?
Ghouri opened up on her split from Le Page in her memoir Your Superpower, which explores how she overcame hurdles she faced due to being deaf, in April 2025.
She writes, ‘I knew deep down it wasn’t right. There were a lot of tears and it was a really hard time. Andrew was the man I was going to marry. We had discussed having children.’

Following the publication of the book, Le Page unfollowed Ghouri on social media.
Le Page had previously discussed the split himself, writing on social media back in February that he had ‘cried more this year' than in his entire life, adding, ‘End of an era. So guys it's been a pretty c**p start to the year and one I didn't expect. However life goes on and I'm doing everything in my power to stay positive. All the support has meant the world.'
It was reported that Ghouri’s participation in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing – in which she reached the final with Aljaž Škorjanec – was the reason for her and Le Page’s split back in January.

A source told The Sun at the time, ‘Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly.
‘She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by. They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s pretty much heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman.’
