Suki Waterhouse has just landed her biggest film role date, in Insurgent – the sequel to this year's mega-hit, Divergent starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Kate Winslet.

Sure, when it came to casting for the movie, it can't have hurt that Suki's boyfriend is Oscar-nominated actor Bradley Cooper, but let's not get overly cynical here. Suki's been building her acting portfolio and notching up the film credits for a few years now (Pusher, anyone?) and her film Love, Rosie, in which she stars alongside Sam Claflin, Lily Collins and Jamie Winstone amongst others, is due out for release in October this year.

While Love, Rosie is a tale of thwarted teenage love, Insurgent (as any fans of the franchise will know) is going to call for something a tad more physical from Suki. If you're not familiar with the first movie, think major tests of endurance and lots of running around. Or just imagine The Hunger Games being filmed on the set of the Matrix.

The Brit model – who is a face of Burberry – will play Malene in the upcoming film, a character described as having a 'childish joy' about her, and also a 'flirtatious smile.' Sounds like they've made a good choice with Suki, then...
