Our favourite person to follow on Instagram is Stacey Solomon. Whether she's sharing parenting advice, body positive selfies or her tidying tips, she's always keeping it real, which is why she has amassed so many followers on Instagram. (3.7million, to be precise.)
This morning, Stacey continued her message of loving your body no matter what by showing off her favourite stretch marks on her hips - which she calls a 'sparkle hula skirt'. 'They sparkle like glitter in the sun and they go all the way round like a sparkle hula skirt, I love them,' the mum-of-three wrote alongside a short clip on Instagram story, explaining why she is getting involved in Dove's campaign which is encouraging people to post unfiltered pictures on social media.
Stacey recently spoke to Grazia about her relationship with body image - and why she's totally happy not to have 'the perfect body'. 'It’s a funny thing because I genuinely, my body is what my body is and unless I’m going to sit there doing a perfect angle or airbrushing myself it’s always going to be not the perfect, or what society would say the perfect body is,' she said.
The influencer and presenter added: 'I’ve had three children – even if I hadn’t had three children, I just think there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my body and, one, I don’t have time to sit down and airbrush my lumps and bumps. But two, I don’t want to either, because they’re part of me, they’re all a part of my life and what I’ve been through and who I am, the popcorn I eat at the movies and the children I’ve grown – every bit of me is a part of the story of my life and I don’t want to airbrush it out.'
