Stacey Solomon claims to have a surefire hack of organising her underwear drawer, which won’t break the bank. The Sort Your Life Out presenter shared her knicker drawer hack to prevent her smalls getting tangled up in the drawers by using a plastic bag dispenser, which costs £2 at Ikea.
‘So, today I put my knickers in a plastic bag holder – because I’m sick of my knickers, bras and socks getting all jumbled up in the drawer – so I’m separating them,’ she told her six million Instagram followers.
As she put her undies into the container before hanging it up in her wardrobe, the cleanfluencer explained, ‘I’m keeping all my knickers in here, bras and socks are going in my bedside drawers and now every day I can just come up to this little thing and whack out a pair of knickers for the day – and then they cannot possibly get jumbled anymore.’
However, while some praised her latest hack, it was deemed ‘bizarre’ and ‘pointless’ by some. ‘This does seem to be a pointless thing,’ one online commenter said, with another remarking, ‘Her knickers will end up jumbled again.’
Stacey, whose reality series Stacey & Joe will air on the BBC later this year, said of her decluttering attempts, ‘It's so funny because every year I try to re-set. I've done it on here with you guys for three years and I'm still trying to find new ways to make things easier because no matter what a lived-in/busy household will always get messy and out of control.’
She added, ‘And you have to find ways that help you and work for your environment – and that changes all the time.’
Stacey revealed that she and Joe, along with their children Zachary, 16, Leighton, 12, Rex, five, Rose, three, and one-year-old Belle will be starring in the docuseries. ‘A new year. A very new adventure. Coming spring 2025,’ she wrote.
‘We’ve been so nervous and excited to share this. Here is us. All of us. In 2024 we opened up our home and made a series about our lives, family, work and everything in between. It was a huge leap into the unknown and it’s been an absolute whirlwind making it. But last year as a family we decided to say yes to more and do things we’d never done,' she continued.
Stacey added, ‘We have spoken about making a documentary for a long time, lots of you have asked too. So here we go. A journey with us every second of the way. Through the laughter the tears and the craziness… We hope it makes you smile, feel good and hopefully enjoy getting to know us all a little more.’
