Yesterday, Buckingham Palace welcomed King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain who will be staying at the prestigious residence until Friday.
This is the first state visit by a Spanish king to the UK since Felipe's father, Juan Carlos, visited 31 years ago. The prestigious occasion is reportedly in hope of improving relations over Brexit and Gibraltar.
Yesterday morning, the royal couple arrived in Britain and were quickly brisked away to meet the Queen and Prince Philip. And the Royal Family is no stranger to such prestigious events, as the Duke of Edinburgh rushed to show off the guard of honour to King Felipe.
Though with his retirement looming, this may unfortunately be the last time Prince Philip performs the ritual.
King Felipe then shared a carriage with the Queen for the traditional procession down the Mall while his wife shared a ride with Prince Philip.
The Spanish royals were then introduced to Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles.
Last night, the Spanish royals dined with the Royal Family. Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton were also in attendance. The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a blush pink gown by Marchesa and accessorised the look with Princess Diana's tiara.
Harry is set to accompany King Felipe and Queen Letizia on a royal visit to Westminster Abbey later this week.
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh posed for several professional photographs with Queen Letizia and King Felipe of Spain at Buckingham Palace.
For the third and final day of their State Visit, Queen Letizia and King Felipe visited Oxford University and the Francis Crick Institute at King's College London.
