As well as gesticulating lots and using very long words in a bid to sell more copies of his new book, Revolution, Russell Brand has said that we should ‘We have to remain open-minded to any possibility’ that those 9/11 conspiracy theories are true. So far, so attention-grabby, right? But we’re a hell of a lot more interested in Taylor Swift’s conspiracy theory; that she’s going to be framed for murder.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show, Taylor said some stuff about sea urchins. But then she talked about her conspiracy theory: she gets so freaked out by all of the made up headlines about her, that she wonders how bad it could really get.

She explained (and it needs some explaining, doesn’t it?): ‘I think it comes from the fact that I could open up my phone, I could look at my phone and see any headline written about me at anytime and it could be the most ridiculous untrue thing.’

‘So, I think the dream and the nightmare of being framed comes from, I could do nothing wrong, I could sit in my house with the cats all day and somehow there could be an article about me buying a house in a place I’ve never been or dating a guy I’ve never met. But then you take it a step further and in nightmare world it’s being framed for murder.’

She also said: ‘Look at me, I wouldn't survive in jail!’

To which Ellen responded, maybe a bit cheekily: ‘I think you would even have fans in prison and they would take care of you and love you’. The audience's cheers and laughter makes us think there's something in this - maybe a proper Taylor Swift cameo in Orange Is The New Black?

After all, we all remember when Piper loses it because she gets ‘starved out, felt up, teased, stalked, threatened and called Taylor Swift’!

We figure she's not the drag-racing, house-vandalising, thieving sort, so unless there’s some tax evasion involved somewhere along the line, we don’t really see Taylor ever entering the actual big house...
