Ok, gang. Sherlock hats on, please. So – Sienna Miller attended the Golden Globes on Sunday, looking sparkly as ever. Nothing to report, beyond her customary loveliness. But later in the week, Sienna was papped walking through New York. Bundled up against the cold, she wore a coat, hat, boots – but no gloves. No. On the contrary, her fingers were bare – that is, aside from a very conspicuous ring, on a very significant finger. So, diamond. Ring finger. Engaged? Maybe.
Sienna’s been dating gallery scion Lucas Zwirner since January last year, which puts them at twelve months together. While they’ve kept the relationship largely out of the spotlight, Miller has had her fair share of very public romances – Orlando Bloom, Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Craig. And who could forget the heartbreak of the Jude Law Saga, which saw him dive head first into the Cliché to End All Cliché’s when he admitted to an affair with his children’s nanny? Yikes. Sienna and Jude’s engagement was snuffed in 2005, but Law was followed by another fiancé in the form of Tom Sturridge, 2012, with whom Miller shares daughter Marlowe.
Back to 2020, though, and there’s no denying that Sienna’s new ring looks a lot like you-know-what. After all, it was only September last year that she told the Sunday Times Style 'Yes, I would love to have more children. I would love a daughter as well. I think I would be open to getting married, yes.' On the art world, and the man himself (Lucas! Zwirner!), she added, 'It is interesting to be in a world that is not the one I am in. I felt like I'd been in every room somehow and the art world is very new and fascinating, and very intellectual, which I love.'
Yesterday, the pair were spotted again – but this time, Miller’s hands were firmly pocketed for their winter stroll. Neither she nor beau Zwirner have confirmed the rumours, but they’ll have plenty of time for that when we’ve all caught our breath. Watch this space.
