Forget Kim Kardashian breaking the internet with her bum on the cover of Paper in 2014, Shawn Mendes has sent the entire world into meltdown with his second Calvin Klein campaign. The singer stripped down again for the latest #MYCALVINS advert campaign, which also features fellow popstars Billie Eilish and Troye Sivan, and Netflix favourite Noah Centineo. But - obviously! - all the attention was on Shawn.
And we just can't stop thinking about it. Personally, I don't think I am going to be able to concentrate or work for the rest of the day. The photos have to be seen to believed. There’s not really anything more to write. As they say, a photo speaks a thousand words. (There is also quite a nice video of him strolling around in his pants, which you can watch below.)
And we were not the only people losing our minds. Demi Lovato commented a row of fire emojis, while John Mayer joked, ‘I would have loved to comment on this, but my Fruit of the Loom contract prevents me from doing so. #fotlpartner.' Shawn's reveal of the campaign on Instagram has - at the time of writing - already racked up almost 5 million likes overnight. And because he is a nice guy, to celebrate the release of his latest single If I Can't Have You last week, Shawn even sent his mate Matty Healy (from the 1975) a pair of boxers from his first iconic shoot (which we wish we owned).
Anyway, if you are in need of more Shawn content, Vogue have just shared an adorable video of the popstar which showed him getting for the Met Gala, as he tried on his Saint Laurent suit, Facetimed his mum and had gold glitter artfully painted on his hair. Adorable!
