Why do ginger men always have such amazing bone structure? Damien Lewis and Benedict Cumberbatch are both blessed with the sort of cheekbones you could shave pecorino on, if you were that way inclined, and male model of the moment Louis Evans has the sort of face that looks like it’s been carved out of ice (in a good way, not in a Voldemort way). We heart him, by the way.

Louis, 22, has been getting all the right sort of attention after he caught the eye of Bookings Models two years ago - and has gone on to appear in British Vogue, and walked at Christopher Raeburn at fashion week. Basically, he’s on his way to becoming a BFGD (Big Fucking Ginger Deal), and as we watch his rise to fame, we invite you to sit back and enjoy the view with us.

Vital statistics

Age: 22

From: Lowestoft. Apparently people in the Suffolk Countryside aren’t that broad minded when it comes to people with…ginger hair ‘Back at home there were stereotypes about gingers and I had the wrong kind of attention.’ It’s all right now though, ladies, he lives in London, where people are much less mean to him. Apparently from all the extra crime, presumably.

**Significant other? **Unknown, although apparently he struggled to get a girlfriend when he was younger. You know, on account of him being ginger in Lowestoft.

Reasons we love him:

  • Like all of us, he’s had a mind-numbingly shit job - working for an office supply company as a cold caller. Realising his talents weren’t put to best use in a job where no-one could see his face, he thankfully became a model instead.

  • We love a man who loves his mum, and it was Louis’ ma (a former beauty queen, no less) who encouraged him to get into modeling. 'I am just very happy that he is having all of these amazing experiences. 'He is really working hard to achieve his goals and I am very proud of that.'

  • His childhood nickname was Rusty. Which he didn't seem too happy about - but we think it's pretty cute...
