Last week, speculation was rife suggesting that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd (AKA Abel Tesfaye) are set to collaborate. And we have to admit, we couldn't contain our excitement.
According to reports, songwriter Max Martin listed The Weeknd on his discography list beneath Selena’s upcoming single, In Her Element.

But in a recent interview with Boston's 103.3 AMP, Selena put speculation to rest. When asked if the rumours are true, the singer replied: "I can't give those people what they want. I'm sorry, and it's not true."
We still have our fingers crossed for the future.
