Romantic Revelations In Tween Royalty: Selena Gomez And Niall Horan Are Rumoured To Be Dating

Tweens across the world are currently very excited about a potential new pairing in their royal court: Selena Gomez and Niall Horan. After she was spotted walking to into his Los Angeles home with a bag full of food shopping last weekend, fans went into overdrive assuming the two are dating.

It was their second public appearance together of the week – they had previously attended a group dinner with some of their other friends. While the picture shared of the evening out looked very friendly, eagle-eyed commentators were quick to jump on the fact Horan had his arm around Gomez.

But rest assured, sweet tweens yet to be convinced, we’re not done. The two have been posting about each other more frequently on social media recently, with Gomez encouraging fans to download Horan’s new music and Horan posting quite a thirsty picture of him next to a poster of her with the caption ‘Hello there Sel.’

Because, these two allegedly have history. In fact, they’ve been forced to deny dating rumours before when they were supposedly spotted ‘making out’ at Jenna Dewan’s birthday party in 2015. Back then, Gomez told Entertainment Tonight that they absolutely weren’t dating. ‘Oh my god! No,’ she laughed when asked the question. ‘I love him, I always have. He's amazing.’

And now, sources are sticking to her story for her. According to E!, an insider has said that ‘Selena and Niall are not dating and have been hanging out as friends.’

‘They have always been good friends and have kept in touch throughout the years,’ the source continued. ‘They both always have been very supportive of each other's music and have talked about collaborating before.’

Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time Gomez has vehemently denied a relationship until it was serious. In fact, she infamously told Ellen DeGeneres that Justin Bieber was like her ‘little brother’ when dating rumours began about the pair… and we all know how that turned out.

So, while we are sad to say Horan and Gomez might not be fulfilling our tween dreams right now, there is hope for the future. That’s right guys, there may be no hope for our country, futures or planet, but at least there’s hope for a Selena Gomez and Niall Horan wedding.
