In some good news for 2020, Emily Ratajkowski and her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, have announced they are expecting their first child. Writing in Vogue magazine, Emily explained how she would like to force 'as few gender stereotypes on [her] child as possible' even though they will 'be faced with the undeniable constraints and constructions of gender before they can speak'. In the essay, she mentions her husband, Sebastian.
'I think about my husband and what a son would bring up for him,' she writes. 'Is he secretly yearning for a boy? When I ask him, he refuses to give me an answer, swearing that he doesn’t have a preference. But one Sunday as he’s watching football he makes a remark about how it’d be fun to have a little boy to watch with.'
But who is Sebastian, and how did the pair meet? Sebastian is 33-years-old, and he's a producer of indie films, such as 2017's Good Time with Robert Pattinson and Still Life. He's also founded his own company, Elara Pictures, with Uncut Gems' directors Josh and Benny Safdie, a pair he has worked with before.
If you're really nosy, he's also reportedly worth an eye-watering $12 million, almost double Emily's reported net worth of $6 million. And like the model, he has also turned his hand to acting in the past, appearing in films such as Force of Circumstance and The Minority.
The pair are thought to have been together since around Valentine's Day 2018, with sources telling American outlets that they had know each other for years. The romance is thought to have been a whirlwind, as only ten days after they were first spotted together, they tied the knot in New York, with Emily looking stunning in a mustard Zara jumpsuit. And they must have really fallen for each other, as it was thought Emily had only split from her ex-boyfriend Jeff Magid - who she had been with for three years - in January 2018.
