You might remember that Scooter Braun and Taylor Swift don't have a great relationship.
In case you missed it, he bought out Big Machine Records, which had previously owned all the masters of Taylor Swift's music. Which was kind of a buzzkill (or, y'know, devastating blow) for Taylor who Scooter had been kind of mean to in the past.
Rather than giving TS the option to buy back the masters (we hear she's good for the money) instead they were sold from under her, leaving her pretty devo.
The good news is that she's going to record them. The even better news if you're a drama fiend is that the whole thing played out super publicly, with Scooter's wife weighing in on it, and oodles of other celebrities who aren't married to Scooter Braun siding with Taylor.
ANYWAY, tonight Taylor is performing at the VMAs, and in the audience will be (or at least apparently according to people who are there) Scooter Braun, who tweeted something congratulatory to Taylor about her new album (Lover) dropping last week.
Unsurprisingly Taylor didn't reply and most Swifties told him where he could stick his congratulations.
We'll keep you posted if anything REALLY EXCITING like Scotter making a rude face or not clapping happens.
