Let’s be honest, if you’re an international popstar like Ellie Goulding, then you’re going to have the best hen do - because, obviously, you’re going to have the best invite list. And, according to The Sun, the Love Me Like You Do singer is set to invite an unexpected royal guest to the party… Sarah Ferguson!
It’s been reported that Ellie admires the former Duchess of York so much - after meeting her through daughters Beatrice and Eugenie - that she wants her to join her and her celebrity friends for the party in May. “Ellie knows Sarah can be wild when she gets going and is so much fun to be around,” a source close to the singer said. “After spending more time with Fergie, Ellie thinks she’ll be the life and soul of the party. Some of her mates think it's a bit weird that they'll be hanging out with old Fergie at the bash but Ellie is sure she'll be a hit with her guests.” (Also, according to the insider, the two girls get along so well because she views Fergie as a ‘rebel’ and a ‘strong female.’)
After dating for a year and half, last summer the musician announced her engagement to art dealer Caspar Jopling in The Times. It is believed the pair were introduced by Princess Eugenie, who Ellie is close pals with. In fact, they’re so close that last year Eugenie even booked the star to perform at her after-party when she got married to Jack Brooksbank.
We can’t wait to see Fergie mingling with Ellie and her pals. For a truly wild girls night out, hopefully she'll invite her mates Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Cara Delevinge... Can you imagine the party?

Who is Ellie Goulding engaged to?
Ellie is engaged to art dealer Caspar Jopling, who popped the question last summer after a year and a half of dating. Caspar - who is friends with Princess Eugenie - went to Eton, and then Harvard where he studied the History of Art and Architecture. The couple live together in New York, where he works.
