What are you planning to get up to in Las Vegas? We asked. ‘Let me tell you, I can’t wait. I’ve got a pretty packed schedule, so I’ll share the highlights. I’m really going to take the chance to do all the stuff I don’t get time to do at home, starting off with the entertainment. Las Vegas is the place to go for loads and loads of amazing gigs and shows; it’s the entertainment capital of the world. Janet Jackson and Pitbull are both in the middle of residencies - what a combo! Also, you know I love Mr Worldwide. Plus, there’s always comedy on so, I’ll definitely be checking that out! Sport is a big pull too. So, if I get time, I’ll try and do that, as I’ve heard the games and events in Las Vegas are on another level.’
But it isn’t just the incredible entertainment that Sam’s looking forward to. ‘I’m also buzzing to make the most of being near some of the most stunning landscapes in the world, so I am going to be keeping fit with hiking and time outside. I’ve heard great things about Red Rock Canyon (National Conservation Area); apparently, it’s huge, so there’s loads to explore!’
What else are you looking forward to? ‘The food. I think a good way to treat yourself will be with all the food they have on offer; I’m going to properly indulge. The range of food is mad; think of a cuisine, and you’ll be able to get it somewhere, and I’m going to try my best to eat as much of it as possible! I’ll be burning it all off on the hikes anyway!’
Will he take any time to relax? Surely with such a hectic work schedule, he fancies some downtime. ‘Yes, I’m going to take full advantage of the relaxation opportunities, because what’s more self-care than that! Spas, lying by the pool, maybe a bit of retail therapy. Las Vegas has every store you could dream of, so I’m planning on getting all relaxed with a lovely massage and maybe a facial before hitting the shops; you might see me with a whole new look!’
