This Is Not A Drill: S Club 7 Could Be Coming Back

Mondays are tough, but it’s a good job we have some great news for you: S Club 7 could be making a return to the stage. The pop group - comprising Rachel Stevens, Jo O' Meara, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Paul Cattermole, and Hannah Spearritt - are apparently in talks to reunite for their 20th anniversary.

The group split 16 years ago after Paul Cattermole quit, but a source has told The Mirror Online that ‘a lot of the bandmates are up for it’. The insider told the publication, ‘There is talks in between band members now about doing a reunion arena tour next year. A lot of the bandmates are up for it. It's still early days but they are talking and fans may be in for a treat in 2020.’

Rachel Stevens told Fabulous Online that she ‘definitely wouldn’t say no’ to another reunion, after the last one happened in 2015. ‘There’s a lot of nostalgia for S Club, it was such a positive part of my life and we had a real celebration of S Club last time we did it. So I definitely wouldn’t say no but everyone’s busy doing their own thing.’

Recently, Paul Cattermole made the bombshell claim that his relationship with Hannah Spearritt was written into their Hollywood 7 TV show. In an interview with the Guardian, Cattermole says that their romance ‘did not happen organically’ and was ‘written into the Hollywood 7 show’ ... 'because of that, it just happened.’ Asked if TV bosses forced him into the relationship, he added, ‘Yeah, but like I say, it didn’t feel like that because I had totally grown into the idea, quite quickly. I thought she was great.’

In 2017, he told The Sun on Sunday that he believed he was dumped because Hannah’s agent convinced her she needed an actor boyfriend, as the split happened after she flew to the US to try her hand at acting. He said at the time, ‘I very much felt she thought she needed to ­prioritise her career. I'm betting she was told, “So your current boyfriend is doing music stuff. Well, that's great, but you really need an actor boyfriend.”’
