Ryan Reynolds has been at it again, trolling wife Blake Lively on social media.
The recently-surfaced pictures of Lively on the Dublin set of The Rhythm Section (looking very much ‘made-under’ with a shaggy blonde bob and sweatpants) would have provided Reynolds with fresh ammo, and he was quick to post a particularly damning shot on his Instagram page, alongside the pithy caption: ‘#nofilter’.
Lively is playing the role of Stephanie Patrick in an adaptation of Mark Burnell’s British spy thriller, and the character’s unkempt appearance is quite the departure from the actress’s glossy red carpet style.
Ever the good sport, Lively responded to her husband's post by drily commenting ‘Only the best for SMA 2010’, referring to the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ title bestowed on Reynolds by People magazine seven years ago.
Having tied the knot in 2012 and had two daughters in the meantime, the couple are fiercely guarded about their private lives but have a history of joshing around on social media; Reynolds’ ‘Happy Birthday’ tribute to his wife was a red carpet shot of him and Lively with about three quarters of her face cropped out. She reciprocated in October by posting ‘Happy Birthday, baby’ alongside a photo of Ryan Gosling.
The couple have reportedly set up base in Dublin with their daughters while Lively films, and lucky locals have already spotted them getting coffee in the suburbs, in Blackrock. We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for further Instagram action...
