From that super-awkward mix-up to political skits – the Oscars is probably the only topic filling up your social feed RN. But there was talking point in particular that confused a lot of people on the big night: ‘#Where’s Eva?’
Yes, instead of bringing his wife and mother of his two children – Eva Mendes – Ryan Gosling instead attended the 2017 Oscars with a ‘mystery date’.
The beautiful blonde is in fact his older sister Mandi Gosling. In the past Ryan Gosling has credited his sis for helping him ‘think like a girl’ (aw!). And while he didn't take home the Best Actor prize, the Gosling’s certainly made the most out of the occasion – snacking on freebie sweets and dancing to Justin Timberlake’s ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’. Cutest. Siblings. Ever.
One Twitter even wrote, "Ryan Gosling's sister Mandi is flawless. #Oscars only reason I'm watching."
Although Mr Gosling wasn’t the only attendee who kept it in the family. His L_a La Land_ co-star and Best Actress winner, Emma Stone, took her brother Spencer as her plus one to the show.
“Really hope Emma Stone's Brother and Ryan Gosling's Sister hit it off at this Oscars and start up a relationship,” another commented on Twitter.
