The Royal Family are having a busy few years aren't they? Royal babies, royal birthdays, royal weddings; it's non-stop celebration for the House of Windsor! And there's another just round the corner.
Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston - known as Tom - are due to get married on Saturday 18th May at St George's Chapel at Windsor, the same venue Harry and Meghan, as well as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank had their weddings. According to the Mirror, the Queen and other members of the Royal Family will be present at the wedding but Buckingham Palace hasn't specified who.
The statement released by the palace on Friday read:
The wedding will be attended by Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by Members of the Royal Family. The marriage ceremony will commence at 12pm, conducted by the Dean of Windsor, The Right Revd David Conner."
Lady Gabriella is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen's cousin. You may have seen her just standing behind her father and mother, Princess Michael of Kent on the balcony at the Trooping of the Colour.
Her husband-to-be Tom Kingston is a financier who you may also recognise as an ex of the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton. The pair dated briefly but have remained good friends since. It's likely Pippa and James Matthews will be guests at the wedding, allowing with Kate and William, who is reportedly good friends with Tom.
The wedding, unlike those of Princess Eugenie and the Duchess of Sussex, will be a mostly private affair. But don't let that stop you getting out the bunting. Who doesn't love a wedding?
