In an unexpected move, the official Royal Family Twitter had liked a tweet in support of Meghan Markle{
The most likely explanation is that somebody with access to the account liked the tweet in simple error (it happens to the best of us). The tweet has since been unliked.
@TudorChick1501 who goes by the name Anne Boleyn, but is probably not the real Anne Boleyn on account of her being dead, wrote: ‘These anti- #MeghanMarkle trolls are all the same: they pine for ‘the good old days. She was genius to title her Vogue issue ‘Forces for Change.’ We are witnessing a seismic shift in power and culture, and her haters are furious and terrified. Oh well. Get used to it.’ And, according toMailOnline, the account, with over 4.1 million followers, liked it within the past week.
The tweet comes after Sunday’s ITV documentary, where Meghan revealed some of the pressures she’s encountered since marrying into the royal family. The mother-of-one admitted, ‘When I first met my now husband, my friends were really happy because I was so happy. But my British friends said to me: "I’m sure he’s great. But you shouldn’t do it because the British tabloids will destroy your life.”’
Prince Harry added that he did not want treatment by the press to ‘lead to a repeat of the past’. ‘I think I will always protect my family, and now I have a family to protect,’ he said. ‘So everything that she [Princess Diana] went through, and what happened to her, is incredibly important every single day, and that is not me being paranoid, that is just me not wanting a repeat of the past.'
