This morning, Prince William and Kate Middleton made one of their first royal appearances since the couple hit the headlines after missing one of the most prestigious royal events in the calendar, the Commonwealth Day Service.
The couple joined Queen Elizabeth II at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle for a special Easter Sunday service.
The Queen, who dressed in majestic turquoise, was driven to the chapel from her private quaters with the Duke of Edinburgh.
The rest of the royals walked to the ceremony to be greeted by 50 members of the public who were given access to the Lower Ward of the castle.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte were unfortunately absent from the Easter festivities as Kate and William were instead joined by Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex and Prince Andrew also attended the one-hour service led by the Dean of Windsor, Reverand David Connor.
Prince Harry was notably absent from the Easter celebration, having travelled to Toronto to spend the weekend with girlfriend Meghan Markle.
