As Harry And Meghan Welcome A Daughter, Here Are All The Royal Baby Debuts Of Recent Years

Congratulations are in order for Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The couple have welcomed their first daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. The specifics of her birth have not yet been made public.

At this point, the jury is out on what that means. Will be seeing a classic royal shoot released on Instagram, like when they announced their pregnancy? It is common for the women of the royal family to pose outside the hospital with their new arrival, but it is not compulsory, and Meghan and Harry's desire to have a private life means that they have always sought to make their own choices.

Unlike many royal women before her, the Duchess of Sussex opted against such a public display after giving birth to Archie, which is quite understandable. Instead, she waited two days to be photo ready, looking radiant in what appeared to be a custom Givenchy trench midi dress and Manolo Blahnik heels.

In mid-April of that year, Kensington Palace had announced that Meghan and Harry had taken the personal decision of keeping the details surrounding the birth under wraps. And unlike Kate Middleton, the couple officially decided not to have their baby at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

The Lindo Wing had been the swanky choice of Kate and Wills for the births of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, in a tradition that was started by Princess Diana.
