Eminem has announced he’ll be teaming up with Rihanna again for August’s The Monster tour. Although the bad news for Eminem, and indeed Rihanna fans is that the pair will only be doing three dates, all of which are in America.
'There are some shows coming up with Rihanna, It’s a three-city tour: New York, LA, and Detroit coming in August. The Monster Tour.' Eminem told XXL magazine.
He also took to Twitter to have a little boast, which seems fair enough, if I was going on tour with Rihanna I’d probably have something to say about it. Rihanna retweeted with, 'OH IM THERE!!!!!' So that’s definitely happening, then.
Obviously, the pair have form on working together, and we kind of like the idea that when they 'go on tour', it involves the pair of them wearing T-shirts with each other’s faces on them, shouting ‘Lads On Tour’ at every possible opportunity, and getting into all sorts of high jinks. Yes, we said high jinks.
Alas, the reality will probably mean they go on stage a couple of times together, sing some songs, go home, which seems like a missed opportunity. Eminem/Rihanna in buddy cop comedy anyone?
