If you wear skinny jeans and have a man bun, you might want to look away, because conservative commentator Laura Ingraham has just declared war on hipsters. During the Republican National Convention, she decided to go all in and slate skinny-jean wearers and man-bun lovers. Oh deaaaar. Her speech went a little something like this:
'And the Democrats answer to all that is to nominate the women who helped orchestrate America’s decline, Think about it. That has to be some cruel joke, like skinny jeans on men or man buns or something like that.'
It would appear than the man bun twitter users of the world felt a little confused by this statement, naturally.
Man buns have been a hot topic for a while now, they’re a serious Marmite subject. Personally I can’t stand them, but that doesn’t mean I would stand up on stage and and project my views across America. OK apart from right now, in this article.
As well as declaring war on hipsters, she also quite possibly started to do a Nazi salute on stage, before wiftly realised where she was and turning it into a casual wave. Twitter, again, noticed EVERYTHING.

A side note to man bun-ers, though: they make you go baldso maybe give your hair a rest for a while. But not forever, because if a man bun makes you happy, you should totally follow your dreams.
