‘For all the moms out there, what is TikTok?’ Reese asks. ‘Okay,’ her 15-year-old son explains, ‘basically it’s a short-form video social media platform for kids.’ The actress then, kind-of-successfully, tries to convince her son that she should get an account.
But then comes the best part of the video, as the mum shows off her signature dance moves (she does look like she’d be serious fun on a night out).
‘@deaconphillippe tries to teach me how to Tik Tok,’ Witherspoon captioned the video, adding a crying with laughter emoji. ‘I think I nailed it…’
And though Deacon might not have been the biggest fan of his mum’s dance moves, her friends - including Victoria Beckham - were quick to comment on the video, with the fashion designer declaring that the video was ‘everything!!!’ Selma Blair was also an admirer, writing, 'You did nail it,' adding in a separate comment: 'This is my recreational life. Every day. Everything is a meme over here.'
