Who Is Rebecca Humphries?

If there's one thing we're seriously looking forward to this year, it's season four of The Crown. We feel like we've been waiting forever, but the series is finally scheduled to drop in November. Netflix have started to give us sneak peeks into the upcoming season, which will star newcomer Emma Corrin as Diana and Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher.

And today, rumours have been circling that actress Rebecca Humphries has been cast to play Gillian's on-screen daughter Carol Thatcher in the forthcoming series. Exciting! You might recognise Rebecca already if you're a Trigonometry or Friday Night Dinner fan, so The Crown isn't her first time on the small screen. She was also in Morgana Robinson's the Agency, Big Bad World and Cockroaches, and can be found on Twitter here.

But you might also recognise her for another reason too, as she was dating Seann Walsh in 2018, when he was pictured publicly cheating on her with his Strictly dance partner Katya Jones.

Rebecca left Seann, and then wrote a tweet a few days later, explaining how he had gaslit her by calling her a 'psycho' when she had questioned his behaviour since he started Strictly. (She then ended the statement iconically by writing, 'Despite everything, I hope he gets what he wants from this. I'm not sorry I took the cat though.'

We're very excited to see what she'll bring to the royal series.
