On Friday, there was the first eviction on Love Island - and producers are already about to introduce to the next bombshell to the villa. Let the drama begin… Strutting into the villa tonight is going to Rebecca Gormley, who was crowned Miss Newcastle in 2018.
The 21-year-old certainly isn’t afraid of breaking any couples up, and has said she has eyes on Connagh Howard, Callum Jones, and Mike Boateng. In her pre-show interview, she described herself as ‘fun, loud, outgoing, fearless, and spontaneous’ - so it sounds like she’s perfect to be introduced as a bombshell.
'I need to chat to them,’ she said, explaining how she plans to win the men. ‘I haven’t seen enough of them to know how I’m going to approach it. I like funny guys, so I’m thinking making the guy laugh is a tick in the box. But no smooth moves, I’ll just be myself.' Although her celebrity crush is fictional, as she said, ‘Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey. He’s a man who knows what he wants.’
Last week, two bombshells - model Connagh and footballer Finley Tapp - entered the villa on Thursday. And they wasted no time in getting to know everyone, with Finley declaring in the first challenge that he had a foot fetish.
As it stands the current couples in the villa are Finley and Paige Turley, Connagh and Sophie Piper, Mike and Leanne Amaning, Callum and Shaughna Phillips, Connor Durman and Siannise Fudge and Nas Majeed and Jess Gale. (Jess' twin Eve was dumped from the villa when Callum recoupled with Shaughna.) But we'll see whether the couples will still stand when Rebecca enters the villa.
