Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonasare officially married. The newlyweds exchanged vows in a Christian ceremony at the lavish Umaid Bhawan Palaceon December 1, which was officiated by Nick’s father Paul Kevin Jonas Senior, PEOPLE has reported.
The couple will enjoy a Hindu ceremony on Sunday 2 December. However, prior to exchanging vows the pair had a string of strict rules their guests had to follow.
Dress code
According to Bollywood Life, the Quantico actress and her singer husband issued a fashion rule to those attending their marital ceremony. The duo asked male guests to wear pink and green on their special day, while women were asked to adorn peach garments when they tied the knot.
Back up plan
Clever thinking Priyanka and Nick were even prepared for the off chance someone might want to break the dress code, as they included a pop-up shop on site, which was filled with designer Indian outfits, for their three-day wedding. The couple also gifted their guests a pair of shoes as part of their welcome pack ahead of the big day. It's safe to say no stone was left unturned for these two.
Bride's wedding dress, the groom's suit and the wedding party outfits
It was previously reported Priyanka would wear a custom Ralph Lauren wedding gown when she walked down the aisle, and the 36 year old has stayed true to her word for the marital ceremony. Nick Jonas also followed suit and looked dapper in a suit from the designer brand.
To make sure the rest of the wedding party - including the bridesmaids and groomsmen, Priyanka’s brother Siddharth, as well as Nick’s siblings Kevin, Joe and Frankie – co-ordinated in wedding pictures, they too wore Ralph Lauren outfits.
It is believed Priyanka and Nick chose the designer to create their marital attire, because they both donned Ralph Lauren Collection outfits at the 2017 Met Gala just days after their first date, just over one year before they got engaged in July 2018.
