Our favourite moment of the royal tour of Canada happened right at the beginning - some might argue, before it even began. When Kate, William, George and Charlotte landed in Victoria, British Colombia, the first picture that was released was of 3-year-old George looking out of the window.
Even better: he was rocking noise-cancelling headphones and smooshing his little nose against it. In one shot, he's even giving serious side-eye. In this moment, Prince George really cemented his everyman status: who hasn't done this?
Now, after the image launched a thousand memes and an immeasurable amount of joy, its seems her older brother has initiated Princess Charlotte on the joys of looking out of the window.
When the family of four landed in Poland earlier this week, royal observers were quick to look for a repeat of this earlier, popular image - and we weren't disappointed.
This time round, 2-year-old Charlotte is also spotted looking out to the welcome comittee of diplomats and other important people, with a similar displeased, even bored, look on her face.
It's an important lesson that George has passed on to his sis here - after all, is there anything royals are called upon to do more than to look down at their adoring public? Next to waving (a skill Charlotte seems to have nailed) it's pretty much the only requirement.
Can we expect a double smooshed-up noggin on arrival in Germany later today? We can but dream.
